Earlier this summer, Walker Books released two illustrated books in a new “Moshi Moshi Kawaii” series, in which you search for the bunny-pill characters, kind of like the Where’s Waldo? books. However, these characters aren’t new; they are originally from Japanese company Mindwave and were released in 2002 as “Usa Colle.” The company sold a limited selection of Usa Colle stationery goods and toys at the time, though they’re pretty hard to find these days.
The old site at UsaColle.com is a bit dated now and is mostly in Japanese, but it has some neat things to check out. There are images of all the original characters, short Flash animations to watch, pretty desktop wallpapers and printables to download, and even a cute little game to play.
San-X has introduced a new character, called Oyasumi Bakura. It’s a sleepy blue and white creature that looks to make a good pillow, along with pink dog friend Suu Suu. Time to get cozy in your pajamas, and you can dress up your desktop with some new wallpapers too.

“Gimme some sugar!” declares the Sugar Bunny Shop, full of the cutest accessories, stationery, toys, shirts, and more. Shop owner Celesse’s original designs include bunnies that look like pandas, kittens posing as cupcakes, and other adorable creatures.
If you like what you see on the Sugar Bunny Shop, you can also see more of Celesse’s work on her gallery web site Bottled Talent, and she also sells some of her items on CafePress, Zazzle, and deviantART.
San-X has introduced a new character called Iiwaken, a cute little dog who likes to draw with crayons, though it looks like he’s doing homework with them!
You can view some of the upcoming stationery items with Iiwaken on the San-X character page, and there’s also a printable calendar and desktop wallpaper on their goodies page.
