Hello Kitty gets creepy with this new series of vinyl toys from Medicom, in collaboration with Sanrio and Dr Romanelli. The first two have cutaways of Hello Kitty’s stomach, so you can see her organs. Naturally, her organs have eyes and hairbows just like her!

And then there are the doctor or surgeon dolls. Much less creepy, but still a bit eery with that facemask. Not that Hello Kitty has a mouth to cover anyway. :)
You can find more about this series in this High Snobiety post. The figures are slated for release in January 2010, but a few sites are already starting to pre-order.
Fruity Cuties is a site offering “cute comedy with kawaii fruit cartoons,” with corny jokes and cute images of your favorite fruits, plus the occasional vegetable thrown in for good measure. Check out the cartoons, buy a t-shirt, or download a free wallpaper for your desktop.
Go on a journey to the KawaiiUniverse, a small shop with unique vinyl clings featuring colorful and original illustrations of ice cream, cakes, and other cute sweets.
SparklePaw’s shop is full of greeting cards and hand mirrors graced by friendly animals, illustrated in a style reminiscent of children’s books from the 1950s. And of course, they’re all so cute!
San-X has introduced a new character named Berry Puppy, a cute white dog that really likes strawberries. The character is somewhat different from the rest of the San-X line-up, and is more reminiscent of some past Sanrio characters.
So far, it’s unclear what type of items Berry Puppy will be available on (stationery, plushes?), but you can get a desktop wallpaper of the cute pup on the San-X goodies page.
San-X is introducing a new line of tableware, featuring Rilakkuma, the brown bear who is lazy but also likes to eat!
The series includes small bowls and dishes with the character’s face — and that of his bear and bird friends — on them, as well as coasters, a pot holder, and a fondue pot.
I like the idea of eating and drinking out of the bears’ heads (brains!), though it is a bit creepy if you think about it.
A good friend of mine recently returned from a trip to Paris, and brought me back the sweetest notepad featuring Choco’Miss, a pink-eared bunny-like character who apparently loves chocolate.
Lo and behold, there’s a full Choco’Miss web site — all in French — with recipes, cute wallpapers and games, as well as a shop with stationery and sweet treats to buy.
J’adore le chocolat!
