I was wandering around Kinokuniya in San Jose earlier today, when I came across a pretty pastel 2010 calendar featuring artwork by Tomoko Maruyama. Originally from Japan, Tomoko is a graphic designer based in San Francisco, and she creates cards, art, and other works, all with a soothing, friendly feel to them. Check out her Etsy shop to buy some of her work, or browse her portfolio to see more of her creations.

I’ve been recently getting back into sending postcards via Postcrossing, so when this site was emailed to me, it was like everything was coming together at once. The shop owner sells only the cutest of postcards, with designs from Japanese illustrators. There are lots and lots of bunnies and other cute creatures, in a variety of themes.
